POM 的簡介
POM強度、剛度高,彈性好,減磨耐磨性好。其力學性能優(yōu)異,比強度可達50.5MPa,比剛度可達2650MPa,與金屬十分接近。POM的力學性能隨溫度變化小,共聚POM比均聚POM的變化稍大一點。
POM的沖擊強度較高,但常規(guī)沖擊不及ABS和PC;POM對缺口敏感,有缺口可使沖擊強度下降90%之多。
POM的疲勞強度十分突出,10交變載荷作用后,疲勞強度可達35MPa,而PA和PC僅為28MPa。
POM的蠕變性與PA相似,在20℃、21MPa、3000h時僅為2.3%,而且受溫度的影響很小。
POM的摩擦因數(shù)小,耐磨性好(POM>PA66>PA6>ABS>HPVC>PS>PC),極限PV值很大,自潤滑性好。
POM制品對磨時,高載荷作用時易產(chǎn)生類似尖叫的噪聲。
POM 化學性質(zhì)
POM 按分子鏈結構不同,聚甲醛可分為均聚甲醛和共聚甲醛,前者密度、結晶度、熔點都高,但是熱穩(wěn)定性差,加工溫度窄(10度),對酸堿的穩(wěn)定性略低;后者密度、結晶度、熔點較低,但熱穩(wěn)定性好,不易分解,加工溫度寬(50度) 。
POM 不足之處在于:由受強酸腐蝕,耐侯差,粘合性差,熱分解與軟化溫度接近,限氧指數(shù)小。它們廣泛用于汽車工業(yè),電子電器,機械設備等。還可以做水龍頭、框窗、洗漱盆。
POM具有很低的摩擦系數(shù)和很好的幾何穩(wěn)定性,特別適合于制作齒輪和軸承。由于它還具有耐高溫特性,因此還用于管道器件(管道閥門、泵殼體),草坪設備等。
POM 環(huán)境性能:
POM不耐強酸和氧化劑,對烯酸及弱酸有一定的穩(wěn)定性。
POM的耐溶劑性良好,可耐烴類、醇類、醛類、醚類、汽油、潤滑油及弱堿等,并可在高溫下保持相當?shù)幕瘜W穩(wěn)定性。吸水性小,尺寸穩(wěn)定性好。
POM的耐候性不好,長期在紫外線作用下,力學性能下降,表面發(fā)生粉化和龜裂。
應用范圍
POM屬結晶性塑料,熔點明顯,一旦達到熔點,熔體粘度迅速下降。當溫度超過一定限度或熔體受熱時間過長,會引起分解。
POM具有較好的綜合性能,在熱塑性塑料中是最堅硬的,是塑料材料中力學性能最接近金屬的品種之一,其抗張強度、彎曲強度、耐疲勞強度,耐磨性和電性都十分優(yōu)良,可在-40度--100度之間長期使用。
